Right to Object

This Right to Object is published in multiple languages. In case of discrepancies or questions of interpretation, only the German version is legally binding.

Notice of the Right to Object under Article 21(1), (4) GDPR: In accordance with our obligation under Article 21(4) GDPR, we hereby inform you of your right to object pursuant to Article 21 GDPR.

Under Article 21(1), you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data that is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR (descriptions provided below).

Following an objection, we will cease processing your personal data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Article 6(1)(e) GDPR: Processing is lawful if it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: Processing is lawful if it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject that require the protection of personal data, especially where the data subject is a child.
